Mark has performed and recorded in a number of genres throughout Europe and the U.S. He began his studies as a classical guitarist with John Feeley at the National College of Music in Dublin where he won several awards. From Baroque to Rock, and with increasing attention to Celtic music, Mark is known in particular for his interpretations of the work of 17th century Irish composer and harpist Turlough O’Carolan. As a solo artist, he has released 3 albums encompassing traditional Irish and Scottish music through to arrangements of work by Jaques Brel. Mark has also composed for film and theatre and recently broadcast a composition commissioned by RTE Lyric FM. He continues to perform and record throughout Europe particularly in Ireland and Scotland.
